Where Glamour Meets Compliance

The Takealot House of Beauty 2025 lit up Durban’s coast from 24–26 October at The Globe, Suncoast, delivering not just a celebration of beauty and innovation, but a masterclass in safe, compliant event execution.

From the moment doors opened, the event embodied professionalism behind the scenes. A full Event Risk Assessment was conducted during the pre-production phase, aligned with JOC Durban requirements and in full compliance with the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act (SASREA).

Our appointed event safety officer and OHS manager worked alongside venue and exhibitor teams to maintain a safe environment for attendees, models, influencers, and VIP guests.

Medical readiness was a priority, with trained on-site medics stationed throughout the venue. Emergency response plans were briefed to all key staff, ensuring rapid reaction capability across all three event days.

Sustainability was also front-of-mind. Waste separation stations were implemented, aligned with Durban’s municipal by-laws, to reduce the event’s environmental impact and promote responsible disposal practices.

From health and safety compliance to a flawless guest experience, the success of Takealot House of Beauty 2025 illustrates how event risk and compliance is not just a requirement — it’s the backbone of any professional production.

If your next event requires SAPS risk categorization, JOC approvals, or help with event safety planning, we’re here to support your vision — safely and successfully.
