BLOOMBERG 2019 PICNIC EVENT

In accordance with Act of 2010, The Safety at Sports and Recreation Events Act and as a part of our SASREA services, GLA did the pre-event site inspections as well as compiled and prepared the event risk assessment for Bloomberg’s 2019 Picnic Event. By obtaining the SAPS Event Risk Categorization, which forms part of our SASREA services we compiled the written safety and security plan to ensure the event complied with SASREA and all applicable by-laws.

GLA prepared the event application and presented the event to the Johannesburg City JOC. As required by the JOC, GLA assisted with the noise exemption application for the event and provided an on-site acoustical engineer.

As part of our Occupational Health and Safety Services, required by the JOC and the OHS Act 85 of 1993, we provided the event with an on-site Health and Safety manager, facilitated on-Site Medical Services and facilitated on-site Security Services.
